Design of LED lighting for industrial camera systems
Svoboda, Martin ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development, design and construction of multispectral lighting for industrial camera systems. The lighting is conceived as a modular device consisting of two parts - a control unit, which can be communicated primarily through the Modbus TCP / IP protocol, which powers, controls and collects information about the connected lighting unit. The illumination unit is equipped with 64 intelligent RGBW light emitting diodes located in an 8x8 matrix and one control diode opposite to which light intensity sensors are placed to give feedback on the color and intensity of the light. There are two temperature sensors located between the LEDs to check the temperature of the lighting unit. Both units are housed in a robust aluminum chassis. The control unit contains a microcomputer programmed in C language
Intergration of a charging station into a family house photovoltaic system
Liška, Martin ; Langerová, Petra (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with integrating a charging station into a family house photovoltaic system. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The purpose of the theoretical part was to conduct research about current possibilities concerning charging stations and their integration into the household. In the practical part, there were created function designs to integrate the charging station into the intelligent household and there was realised the testing of the selected charging station.
Modbus WiFi for pyrometer communication in a foundry
Moravčík, Adam ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of a method for connecting a pyrometer communicating via the MODBUS RTU interface to a WiFi network in the environment of the Brno foundry. The first part is devoted to the MODBUS protocol, its structure, principles, and possibilities of connection to the TCP / IP network, which is also used in WiFi. The second part is focused on an overview of available single-board computers and microcontrollers suitable for the implementation of the design. The third part deals with the hardware design of the device which realizes the connection of the pyrometer to the WiFi network. It describes the meaning of individual parts and the way of their interconnection. The fourth part deals with the software design of the program. It describes the individual blocks of the program and their function. The fifth part deals with testing the device using the simulation programs "Modbus Pool" and "Modbus Slave".
Wireless communication between remote PLC and lab model
Maléř, Martin ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to establish wireless communication between programmable logic controller (PLC) used in laboratory model of a distillation column and PLC, which controls the technological process. Industry bus ModBus TCP/IP and wireless modules in client-server mod was chosen to reach this goal. To control the technological process was created visualization. At the finish of the work everything was tested.
PLC Control of Robotic Manipulator
Krajcar, Tomáš ; Svoboda, Jakub (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the design control of a 3-axis robotic manipulator. The manipulator is used for transporting the moulded part from a moulding machine to a conveyor belt. A manipulator has 3 asynchronous motors controlled by one frequency changer. A PLC is designed for full control of this operation. A PLC uses a real time operating system, which allows it to work on several tasks at the same time. A PLC has Modbus TCP/IP communication with HMI. A PLC has Modbus TCP/IP communication with HMI. A manipulator communicates with a moulding machine via a EUROMAP 12 interface.

Comparison Of Power Quality Monitor Data Transmission Between Modbus Tcp/Ip And Iec 60870-5-104
Musil, Petr
With deployment of smart devices along the electrical grid key infrastructure points, communication process with regards to its volume and load on communication infrastructure needs to be described and evaluated. This article focuses on protocol Modbus TCP/IP and standard IEC 60870- 5-104 with regard to their communication structure and principles within substation connected to network by broadband over power lines modems (BPL). This paper also offers two communication scenarios over BPL network by using real substation power quality monitor. Furthermore, performance of each solution is being summed up in the discussion. Conclusion offers a convenient solution for utilization of key values transmission on limited communication channel.
